A cause close to our hearts: Victoria’s Wish & Zane’s story
This year, we’re proud to take on a truly special challenge for a cause that’s incredibly personal to us.
As many of you know, our son Zane was born with Dandy-Walker syndrome, a rare and complex neurological condition. Life has brought many challenges for Zane — but he’s our inspiration, and we do everything we can to create special moments that bring joy, dignity and connection to his life.
One of the charities that’s supported our family is Victoria’s Wish. They’ve helped us give Zane magical experiences we simply couldn’t access alone. That’s why we’re committed to giving back, so other families like ours can benefit too.
This year, for the 2025 Great North Run, we’re doing something different.
13.1 miles. 15 friends. One adapted wheelchair.
Zane will be pushed around the full GNR course in a specially adapted sports wheelchair — supported by 15 of our friends and team members, each taking on a mile to help him cross the finish line.

At PIME Investments, our vision goes beyond bricks and mortar. Through our property work, we’re also developing a care-led housing division that supports:
Children and adults with disabilities
Young people in assisted living
Families in crisis or supported environments
By repurposing and adapting homes from our own portfolio, we’re creating safe, accessible housing that delivers more than just returns, it offers dignity, stability and real opportunity to those who need it most.
This care initiative forms part of our growing social care company, now operating across Teesside and Liverpool, including our Rivermoor Care home, a shining example of how investment can truly serve both people and purpose.
We’re proud to be building a portfolio that supports not just profit, but progress.
Creating opportunities for the next generation
We believe the next generation of tradespeople, designers and developers is already here, they just need the right exposure.
That’s why we regularly open up our worksites to:
Local schools and colleges
Young adults considering construction careers
Students interested in engineering or design
These hands-on experiences give young people a chance to learn, ask questions and see what’s possible in an industry that’s often hidden from view.
